Entrance gratings
|
General details:
Entrance gratings are laid down in the front of the entrances of offices, stores etc. to minimise the amount of dirt and snow carried with the footwear into the buildings. Entrance gratings are placed in level with the surface.
Grating types:
Type SP is the most common type for scraper gratings.
Mesh sizes:
The mesh size is adapted to the individual project. We recommend a mesh size of at least 20 mm in the walking direction. For entrances to stores, offices or schools, we recommend a grating with small mesh grating, e.g. 9x30 mm.
Fitting methods:
The gratings are fitted in frames and need not be fastened in most cases.
Other:
The gratings may be supplied with cutouts so that they fit revolving doors, for instance. |
