elefant® industrial gratings

Elefant® industrial gratings can be used for walkways, platforms, storage floors, operating decks, maintenance access etc.

The industrial gratings are very strong relative to their light construction. It is easy to adapt the industrial grating during the production as well as at the construction site.

If very high anti-slip qualities are required, the bars may be serrated in one or both directions.

The elefant® industrial grating is a pressure welded type SP grating with full height bearing bars in the bearing direction and filler and control bars of variable height at right angles to the bearing bars. The industrial grating is supplied with welded edge bar on all four sides in the same dimension as the bearing bars.

Dimension:
The elefant® industrial grating is available in a number of standard sizes from 400x1000 to 1000x1500 mm but may also be custom-made.

Mesh sizes:
The industrial grating is carried in the following mesh sizes: 15x30 mm ball tested and 30x30 mm. If a different mesh size is required, the grating must be custom-made.

Any mesh size is available on the pressure-welded range.

Serrated surface:
If very high anti-slip qualities are required, the grating may be supplied with serrated bearing bars or with serrated bearing, filler and control bars. (See the section General details about gratings).

Cutouts:
The elefant® industrial gratings may be supplied with cutouts or may, as a result of the pressure welding, be cut to measure on site.

Material:
The industrial gratings are supplied in steel S235JRG2 (steel 37-2) as standard but can also be manufactured in stainless 1.4301 & 1.4404 at request.

Surface treatment:
The standard surface treatment of the gratings is hot-dip galvanising in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461 1999 but they may be delivered with other surface treatments, e.g. pickled or electro-polished in stainless steel.
