Scraper gratings:
elefant® scraper gratings are primarily used for embedding flush with tiles or pavement areas and are therefore particularly useful in front of large entrances, for instance shopping centres and office buildings.
The scraper grating may be used alone or be placed in an angle framework.
elefant® scraper grating is a pressure welded type SP grating with full height bearing bars in the bearing direction and filler and control bars of variable height at right angles to the bearing bars. The scraper grating is supplied with welded edge bar in the same dimension all round. Dimension: The elefant® scraper grating is available in a number of standard sizes from 250x500 to 1000x1500 mm but may also be custom-made. Mesh sizes: The scraper grating is carried in the following mesh sizes: 9x30 mm, 20x30 mm and 10x60 mm. If a different mesh size is required, the grating must be custom-made. Bearing bars – standard: 20x2 or 25x2 mm Edge bar – standard: 20x3 or 25x3 mm Cutouts: The elefant® scraper gratings may be supplied with cutouts or may, as a result of the pressure welding, be cut to measure on site.

Accessories for the scraper grating: Brushes Stiletto heel step plate Material: The scraper gratings are supplied in steel S235JRG2 (steel 37-2) as standard but can also be manufactured in stainless 1.4301 & 1.4404 at request. Surface treatment: The standard surface treatment of the scraper gratings is hot-dip galvanising in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461 1999 but they may be delivered with other surface treatments, e.g. pickled or electro-polished in stainless steel.
