For more than 50 years, gratings of the highest quality have been manufactured under the brand name elefant® gratings. The first production started at the metal goods plant of Rich. Müller A/S in Ballerup, Denmark, but despite several additions to the production facilities, demand grew so much with time that it became necessary to move the production to a specialised plant. This signalled the beginning of the company, which is today known as ElefantRiste A/S. |

2003 |
Due to increased inter-group trading with other companies in PF Gruppen, and not least the increased sales in England, the English office moved to new premises where a stock of standard articles was also established. The stock comprises both elefant® gratings and selected products from A/S Maskinfabrikken PcP. |

2001 |
In August, the remaining part of the shareholding was transferred to the main shareholder so that today, ElefantRiste is 100% owned by PF Management Holding ApS. By this move, ElefantRiste joined PF Gruppen which then consisted of several companies in Denmark, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, the US and East Asia. Elefant Gratings Ltd. was spun off ElefantRiste A/S to become an individual company in PF Gruppen. |

2000 |
In November, three of the four shareholders sold their shares, as a decision was made to strengthen the future development of ElefantRiste through an industrial investor with potential synergy effects. |

1997 |
RM Gitterriste was taken over by FLS Industries A/S through a management buy-out effective from 1 July. The owners were now 2 managers and 2 private investors. At the same time, the company changed its name to ElefantRiste A/S. |
