Elefant® light well gratings are used for covering light wells while at the same time ensuring that light reaches the basement through the open construction.

elefant® light well gratings are pressure welded type SP gratings with full height bearing bars in the bearing direction and filler and control bars of variable height at right angles to the bearing bars. Elefant® light well gratings are available in two variants:

Type 1 – with welded angle on three sides and sheet plate against the wall. This type is placed so that the angle iron rests on the edge of the light well.

Type 2 – with regular edge bar on three sides and flat plate against the wall. Type 2 is placed in a frame with three sides which is embedded in the concrete.
