Frame parts:
The heavy duty grating may be embedded directly in concrete, but if subjected to high loads it is recommended to place the grating in a frame which is embedded in the concrete. This will prevent the grating from destroying the concrete. The frame parts, consisting of longitudinal parts and end parts, are supplied with welded-on anchors for concreting as standard. Dimension: Standard sizes for end parts from 215x260 to 520x260 mm Standard sizes for longitudinal parts from 500 to 2000 mm Angle iron: 35x35x5, 45x45x5, 55x55x6 mm Material: The frame parts are supplied in steel S235JRG2 (steel 37-2) as standard but can also be manufactured in stainless 1.4301 & 1.4404 at request Surface treatment: The standard surface treatment of frame parts is hot-dip galvanising in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461 1999 but they may also be delivered with other surface treatments or in untreated form.
